The magnificent, mahogany President
bed is based on an Edwardian bed from the Whitehouse in Washington DC. As
an optional, decorative feature to give a darkened effect to the mouldings,
Frank Hudson has revived ebonised highlights, a very popular, decorative
feature for Edwardian furniture. The strong, architectural structure to
this distinctive bed creates an imposing presence, enhanced by the finish
available in a choice of rich mahogany, Georgian brown and blond antique.
